There can be no right theology or moral use of the physical sciences without them. in recent years there seems to have been a tragic neglect of the great philosophers, as the many nervous confusions in our culture attest. I am delighted that David Rudmin has undertaken to help fix this, and I am grateful that he takes seriously the capacity of the young to learn great truths and ways of thinking.
